WorkCare is a proud sponsor of Kids’ Chance of California, a non-profit organization that awards needs-based college scholarships to the children of California workers who have been killed or seriously injured on the job.
Kids’ Chance of California recently reached a milestone of $1 million in scholarships awarded to over 120 recipients. To find qualified applicants, Kids’ Chance conducts outreach with high schools, workers’ compensation insurance carriers and service organizations. Kid’s Chance has set its sights on awarding $2 million in scholarships by 2025.
